“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” (Proverbs 31:10) When tradition runs afoul of changing times in a proud English community, a group of elders is forced to wrestle with the question: Is virtue gender-specific? After all, virtue, says holy writ, is virtue. Join the Texas Tech University Opera Theatre and University Symphony Orchestra for Eric Crozier and Benjamin Britten’s uproarious comedy of manners, Albert Herring.

Lanfranco Marcelletti Jr., Music Director

Alan E. Hicks, Stage Director
